Oh hello. My names David and I’m the author of the Obscure Girl comic, I really set this website up to be news ticker, but then I realised the only news I’d ever post would be “new issue out now” every few months. So I’ve decided to experiment with a blog - I’m not a blogger by soul, nor do I read other blogs unless they can offer me some sort of downloadable music, but I have noticed the site getting a few hits - 100% down to referrals from Mr Wolfs website I’m sure - and don’t like the idea of people finding an empty page, so I don’t know how long I’ll keep at it but I’ll give it a shot, so here I go.

Why this is The official Tumblr page for Obscure Girl, A free comic strip available to read by anyone visiting Bristol’s City Centre - its hanging up now outside Mr Wolfs bar (33 St. Stephens Street, Bristol, BS1 1JX.)
So who is Obscure Girl?
Obscure Girl is Bristol’s very own freelance superhero, she’s young, sassy, and ready to fight crime day and night! Except on Thursday nights because thats when she goes to her mate Darren’s Squat for yoga lessons, and Sundays when she lies in.
When not defending the city from landmark stealing villains, random retro robots, or murderously handsome and sensitive vampires, Obscure Girl grapples with her own feelings of alienation in the fast paced world of city life, youth culture, and other complicated modern dilemma’s!

WE are the authors, and this blog will be used to post all things Obscure Girl. To get started, we’ve uploaded some sketches from Obscure Girl issue 2, which is up right now on St Stephens Street
